This four storey former home of Dylan Thomas is built from local stonework with a traditional timber trussed roof constrution, timber joist floors and basement area.

The building was left to deteriorate over many years and was served with a dangerous structure notice by Camarthen Council. The building was restored in 2008 to its former grandeur

The new works comprised new floors and strengthening works to the existing roof structure of the main house and ancillary buildings.
